National Aboriginal and Islander Children's Day 2013

National Aboriginal and Islander Children's Day is a significant day to raise awareness about the child rights concerns that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children still uniquely and disproportionately experience a round the country and stimulate reflection on how communities can ensure that all children live these rights every day.

'It also provides an opportunity to come together and celebrate the wonderful strengths and achievements of our children'.

'We look forward to you joining us to ensure that this year’s National Aboriginal and Islander Children’s Day is the biggest and most successful yet!'

SNAICC advocate for the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children.  There mission is: 'To provide a strong voice for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families through a national body which represents Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children's services and promotes the rights, needs and aspirations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families'.
